Braiding Nairobi is a product of
the Ndeza Collective

Since creating "Braiding Nairobi" in September 2022, we've realized the greater need for storytelling and social entrepreneurship centering African women. Through the Ndeza Collective, we combine the power of storytelling with technology, accessibility, and the gig economy, to expand past the borders of Kenyatta Market, Nairobi, and Kenya.

As a Stanford graduate with Honors and articles in the Washington Post, Al Jazeera English, Cosmpolotan, and more, Natachi brings her expertise in narrative, strategy, and community-focused leadership to Braiding Nairobi, driving its mission to empower African women and transform the hair braiding industry.
