A pedicure is the one appointment nobody enjoys travelling for, which makes it the obvious thing to have come to you. Sit on your own sofa, put your feet in the basin the artist brings, and let someone else deal with the hard skin.

The menu runs from a plain pedicure — soak, cuticle work, hard-skin work, shaping, buffed finish — through gel colour, French, and an overlay pedicure for toenails that need actual structure. Ridged, ingrowing or damaged toenails are common and none of it is remotely unusual to work on, so don't put it off out of embarrassment.

It's a good one to pair with a manicure in the same visit; you're already paying to get the artist to your door in Kilimani, Karen or Runda, so the second service is time well spent.
